I finally beat the game with all classes. My favorite is probably Elf, Fighter, or Dwarf. Amazon I got up to lvl 82 but I dunno she is beastly but it can be frustrating to be knocked out of beserk mode and then fighting tooth and nail to get back into it. I like the Dwarf a lot because his circle move is insane and he is still competent even when he doesn't have his weapons. 

Beat the game as a Fighter.  Enjoyable class, INSANE defense.  Really embodies the heart of beat-em-up gameplay.  Now focusing on my Sorceress, who is level 50.  Definitely the best "support" class in the game, but no slouch with her offense, either.   All in all I've put in 50 hours into the game so far, and I don't plan on putting it away anytime soon. :)
